Hauptbahnhof
Hello! I'm in Germany at the moment, visiting the young Wilson in Freiburg, and it's great. I arrived into Basel airport in Switzerland on Wednesday night, and was greeted with a blanket of snow. After finding Jamie at the familiar train station, we headed up to his flat before going out. We ended up staying out to about 5 in the morning, before going back to a friend's for a cup of tea. The late evening confused me a little the next day, making me feel that I'd been here much longer.
Today we ventured up to Lake Titisee, and tomorrow we may pop down to Basel in Switzerland. I don't know if you've ever seen the film Pot Luck, about being an international student, but it definitely seems to be a more accurate representation of Erasmus life that I ever imagined. There are lots of people here from all over the show, and they're all very nice, and are making the most of their year abroad.
