Hola Mi Amigos

So, I´ve successfully made the transcontinental journey to Lima, Peru and met up with the team last night. The journey was quite long, but KLM treated me very well, and I was able to watch plenty of films and eat plenty of free food.

The team have been working hard and have cleared the whole area where we are going to be building and this morning we mixed some cement by hand, and chipped away some of the plaster on the walls to make way for stairs. We should be building during the week, and going to help out at the "community" for a few days. There will also be the chance to get involved in what the Peruvian students in the CU are doing here.

It´s surprisingly cold! My team went on the hunt for jumpers the other day, but it seems like Glasgow has hardened me and I´m not really cold at all. Not sure how much I´ll be able to update, but I´ll write as much as I can.

Take it easy,
Louise

Hey!
Good to hear you arrived safely and are getting straight into all the hard work!
Hope you have a really blessed time!
